One of the major commitments for the success of SEW is the training of technical staff involved to ensure complete mastery of the technologies used. It should be noted that the JUE is a commitment to improve services to the public by the Customs action is inserted in the public sector reform.

The training sessions whose objective is to ensure the correct use, efficient and sustainable Single Electronic Window were held in neighboring South Africa and included several packages such as:

  • COGNUS;
  • ORACLE BI PUBLISHER;
  • NETWORK PLUS;
  • SUN 5 SYSTEMS;
  • ITIL.

The Single Electronic Window system for customs clearance, integrate a network infrastructure nationwide and around two dozen modules covering all aspects of clearance requiring a high level of competence of its human resources.

The SEW was developed in partnership with CrimsonLogic, company with over 20 years of experience in developing similar systems in use not only the Singapore Customs and the areas of health and justice in that country.

The training program should be continued once the entire first half of the year also cover training on best practices in managing information technology.
